About the Exhibit:
Six transformative months, countless hours of collaboration, and three unique ideas blending into one masterpiece – it’s time for the Create Award residents to unveil their final exhibition, Create Award Group Show 2025. Exploring the intersections of identity, history, and the systems that shape our world, each artist brings these themes to life through deeply personal and visually captivating narratives, creating a cohesive yet diverse show. Painter and collage artist Raymond Gabriel journeys through Denver’s diverse landscapes, piecing together fragments of daily life in a bold, powerful installation that narrates how life flows through and connects our communities. Thought-provoking and rich in artistic materials, interdisciplinary artist Margarita Moreno draws on her Latin-American roots and transports viewers to a pivotal historical and natural event that shaped the landscape of Colombia. Printmaker and painter Marley Robinson collides fantasy with reality by slaying her inner demons, navigating the dichotomies of life and death, good and evil, and hero and villain in her fantastical show.
